I have appeared on BBC 4 Woman’s Hour, the Playlist Series, The Food Programme, as well as Radio Scotland, Talk Radio, and Monocle FM.  I also co-produced and presented a series of BBC Radio 3 The Essay. Recently, I was invited onto the BBC History Magazine podcast.

My feature documentary for RTE Lyric FM on Edward Lear, The Limerick Man: Edward Lear in Ireland, was shortlisted for a New York Radio Award, the Oscars of the industry.  You can listen to it here:

Radio kept me alive inside during childhood illness and I can never adequately repay the debt. It is, in many ways, my favourite broadcast medium because it invites the listener to bring their imagination to a place where old and young, tiny and tall, ravishing and ravaged, are equal conversationalists.

I am making another feature documentary for RTE Lyric FM in 2025 on the Victorian novelist and ghost story writer Rosa Mulholland. Can’t wait. Watch this space!
